I completed a two-week course of treatment for H. pylori and continued taking stomach medications for two months, including Danoprazole. Now I want to get tested for H. pylori, and the doctor told me to stop taking Danoprazole for three weeks first before getting tested. However, I have heartburn and want to take medication for it that won't affect the test results. Is this possible?
