Insulin-Mix is used to treat diabetes. Insulin-Mix contains basal insulin and isophane. Insulin is a hormone that lowers blood sugar levels, while isophane is a medium-acting type, as its effect begins after 2-4 hours of injection, and its effects last for 4-12 hours, with continued action for up to 12-18 hours.
