Mechanism of Action : It exerts it`s local analgesic, anti-inflammatory actions by acting as a prostaglandin synthesis inhibitor. It inhibits cycloxygenase enzyme and thus prevents formation of prostaglandin. It also exerts local anaesthetic action Indications for Benzydamine Hydrochloride Cream: 1.Bursitis 2.Sprains 3.Joint injuries 4.Acute musculoskeletal disorders 5.Thrombophlebitis 6.Superficial phlebitis 7.Peripheral venous insufficiency 8.Lower limb venous circulatory disorders 9.Vulvovaginitis and cervicovaginitis of any origin or nature 10.Bacterial vaginosis from Gardnerella vaginalis 11.Pre and post gynecological surgery prophylaxis.
