Vega Andian is used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Vega Andian is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, which works by dilating blood vessels and increasing blood flow to the penis, leading to an erection when there is sexual stimulation.
Vega Andian also inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase-5 in smooth muscles, which leads to relaxation and dilation of blood vessels in the lungs, and is therefore used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.
