Lomotil is used to treat acute or chronic diarrhea, diarrhea caused by certain medications, and in cases of colostomy, diarrhea associated with gastroenteritis and food poisoning.
It helps reduce the number and frequency of bowel movements and works by slowing down bowel movements.
