Frakidex eye ointment is used to treat eye infections caused by bacterial infections. It contains an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory substance that work together to relieve symptoms such as swelling, redness, and itching. The ointment helps speed up healing and prevent the infection from developing into more serious conditions. A small amount is placed inside the lower eyelid of the affected eye according to the doctor’s instructions. The prescribed treatment period must be adhered to and use must not be stopped even if symptoms disappear to avoid a return of the infection. The eye must be kept clean and the tip of the tube must not be touched directly to the eye to avoid contamination. It is also advised not to use Frakidex if there is an allergy to any of its components.
