Naprosyn gel is used to treat inflammation and associated pain. It works to reduce inflammation and swelling and relieve pain. It is mainly used in cases of arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, muscle and joint pain, and sports injuries such as muscle strains and tears. It is also used to relieve pain resulting from soft tissue injuries or swelling due to accidents or surgical procedures. It also helps in treating cases of tendon and ligament inflammation.
Naprosyn gel can be applied directly to the affected area in a small amount and gently massaged in. Avoid contact of the gel with the eyes or mucous membranes and avoid using it on open wounds or cracked skin.
