Solcoseryl injections are used to stimulate tissue healing and improve blood circulation in cases requiring deeper or local treatment directly within the tissue. It is also derived from deproteinized calf blood, which provides vital active ingredients that aid in cell regeneration and enhance cellular metabolism. Solcoseryl injections are used for deep or chronic wounds that do not heal easily, such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers caused by varicose veins or diabetes, and ulcers resulting from poor blood flow.
Solcoseryl is also sometimes used to treat soft tissue injuries, such as tendon and muscle injuries, or after certain surgical procedures that require additional stimulation for healing.
