Stuval is used to relieve symptoms associated with Meniere disease such as dizziness, tinnitus and hearing loss. The drug is effective in relieving symptoms of motion sickness or travel sickness such as dizziness, nausea and vomiting.
Stovall is used in some cases to improve blood circulation in the brain, which may help treat some cases of cerebral ischemia. Stuval may be used to relieve symptoms of Raynaud disease, a condition that causes spasm of the blood vessels in the extremities, leading to a feeling of coldness and numbness. Stuval contains the active ingredient cinnarizine, which is an antihistamine and a calcium channel blocker.
