Ketek tablets are an antibiotic usually prescribed to treat certain types of pneumonia, upper respiratory tract infections such as acute sinusitis and sore throat or tonsillitis resulting from bacterial infection, lower respiratory tract infections such as community-acquired pneumonia and chronic bronchitis when caused by bacterial infection.
Ketek may sometimes be used in other cases determined based on the doctor's recommendation if the infection is caused by bacteria sensitive to the active ingredient.
