Garamycin is used to treat serious infections caused by types of bacteria that are sensitive to it. It is commonly used to treat respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, and blood poisoning.
Garamycin is effective against a wide range of gram-negative bacteria and some gram-positive bacteria.
