Cefazone is used to treat infections caused by susceptible organisms, including respiratory tract infections, peritonitis and intra-abdominal infections, septicemia, infections of the skin and associated tissues, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis and other female reproductive tract infections, urinary tract infections, enterococcal infections and other similar conditions.
