Tazocin may be used in adults and adolescents to treat severe pneumonia, including hospital-acquired or ventilator-associated infections, complicated urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis, complicated intra-abdominal infections, complicated skin and soft tissue infections, such as diabetic foot infections, and bacteremia in adults.
