Augmentin is used to treat a range of infections in adults and children, including bacterial sinusitis, acute otitis media, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, bladder infections, kidney and pelvic infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, especially osteomyelitis.
