Verorab Dosage

For post-exposure prophylaxis, doses are administered according to the recommended medical protocol. For pre-exposure

Contraindications of Verorab
For pre-exposure vaccination, Verorab should not be administered to individuals with a history of severe

However, after a confirmed or suspected exposure to rabies, there are no absolute contraindications to vaccination
because rabies is almost invariably fatal once symptoms develop. In such cases, vaccination should be started
immediately under medical supervision.
Use During Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Verorab may be administered during pregnancy when there has been confirmed or suspected exposure to rabies.
Post-exposure prophylaxis should never be delayed because of pregnancy, as the risk of rabies far outweighs any
potential risk associated with vaccination.
The vaccine may also be administered during breastfeeding when indicated, and there is no need to discontinue
breastfeeding. A healthcare professional should evaluate the exposure and determine the appropriate treatment plan
according to current medical guidelines.
