Medicine Description
Tysabri Vial is an advanced biological therapy that belongs to the class of monoclonal antibodies. It works by
preventing immune cells from crossing into the brain and spinal cord, thereby reducing immune-mediated damage to nerve
cells.
The medication effectively reduces the frequency of relapses and slows the progression of physical disability in
patients with active relapsing multiple sclerosis. It is particularly beneficial for patients who have not responded
adequately to conventional disease-modifying therapies.
