Medicine Description
TRIXY is an oral medication used to manage movement disorders associated with dysfunction of the central nervous
system. It works by restoring the balance of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, helping to reduce muscle
rigidity, tremors, and other motor symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease.
It is also effective in treating drug-induced extrapyramidal symptoms caused by certain antipsychotic medications,
helping patients regain better control of body movements and improve their daily quality of life.

TRIXY Dosage
Treatment is usually initiated with a low dose, such as 1–2 mg daily, and gradually increased according to the
patient's response and tolerance under medical supervision.
The daily dose may be divided into three or four doses throughout the day. It is preferable to take the tablets with
or after meals to reduce the likelihood of stomach upset. Follow the prescribed treatment plan and do not adjust or
discontinue the medication without consulting your physician.
TRIXY Side Effects
Dry mouth and throat, which may be relieved by drinking plenty of water.
Temporary blurred vision, dilated pupils, or difficulty focusing.
Dizziness, mild drowsiness, or fatigue, especially at the beginning of treatment.
Constipation and mild difficulty urinating, particularly in older adults.
TRIXY Contraindications
Do not use this medication if you are allergic to trihexyphenidyl or any of the other ingredients.

It is contraindicated in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma because it may increase intraocular pressure.

Do not use in patients with intestinal obstruction or severe prostatic enlargement associated with urinary
retention. Abrupt discontinuation should also be avoided, as it may lead to worsening of motor symptoms.

How to Use TRIXY Properly

Swallow the tablet whole with an adequate amount of water. It is preferable to take it with or after meals if
recommended by your physician to reduce stomach discomfort or nausea.

Take the medication at the same times each day to maintain stable drug levels and achieve the best therapeutic
effect.

If the medication causes dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision, avoid driving, operating machinery, or
performing activities that require full alertness until these effects have resolved.
Storage Conditions
Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Keep the tablets in their original package, protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Store out of the sight and reach of children.
