    Actifast tablets are a medication containing the active ingredient diclofenac potassium at a concentration of 50 mg. This medication is also available in sachets containing the same concentration of the active ingredient for ease of use.

    Actifast tablets contain the following active ingredient:

    The tablets and sachets also contain inactive ingredients to create the appropriate pharmaceutical form.

    Indications for Use of Actifast

    Actifast is used to treat and relieve:

    Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain).

    Migraine attacks with or without aura in adults.

    Pain and inflammation associated with some osteoarthritis conditions.

    Pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis.

    Moderate to severe pain in various conditions, such as post-operative pain or injury.

    What is the dosage of Actifast?

    Actifast tablets or sachets should be taken as directed by your doctor. The dosage depends on the condition being treated and the severity of the pain or inflammation. The usual adult dosage is:

    For general pain and inflammation: 50 mg (one tablet or one sachet) 2-3 times daily.

    For dysmenorrhea: 50 mg upon onset of pain, then as needed.

    For migraine: 50 mg upon onset of migraine symptoms. The dose may be repeated after 4-6 hours if necessary.

    It is best to take this medication with or after food to reduce the possibility of stomach upset. The maximum daily dose recommended by your doctor should not be exceeded.
