Ger Epo is a drug used to treat anemia associated with chronic renal failure, as well as anemia resulting from the use of zidovudine in HIV patients, and anemia resulting from chemotherapy in patients with malignant tumors.
Ger Epo also helps reduce the need for blood transfusion in patients undergoing surgery and stimulates the production of red blood cells and increases the secretion of reticulocytes from the bone marrow into the bloodstream, where they mature into red blood cells.
