It also helps in treating prostatic hyperplasia and reduces the narrowing of the urethra, which is one of the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia, by inhibiting beta-adrenergic receptors in the tissues of the prostate and bladder neck, and thus improves the process of urination.
