Indications for use of Fucicort Cream
Fusicorte Cream is used to treat the following skin conditions accompanied by inflammation and bacterial infection sensitive to fusidic acid:
Infected eczema: including atopic eczema (atopic dermatitis) and discoid eczema. Eczema can become susceptible to bacterial infection due to damage to the skin barrier caused by scratching and itching.
Infected atopic dermatitis: a chronic skin condition characterized by dry, itchy patches on the skin. Scratching can break the skin open and make it more susceptible to bacterial infection.
Infected seborrheic dermatitis: This type of dermatitis primarily affects the scalp, face, and other parts of the body with high sebaceous glands. It can also become infected with bacteria.
Other skin conditions: Fucicort Cream may be used to treat other skin conditions that your doctor determines are infected with bacteria, sensitive to fusidic acid, and respond to treatment with topical corticosteroids.
