Biosolvin is used to treat various types of infections that affect the trachea and bronchi, including amphetamine-associated colds.
Biosolvin is also used to treat both acute and chronic pneumonia, as well as bronchial dilation resulting from inflammation and the treatment of acute colds accompanied by bronchospasm. An antibiotic should be used along with this medicine.
Biosolvin helps facilitate the removal of foreign fluids from the bronchi by making the mucus in the respiratory tract less viscous.
