Indications for using Forcetex
It is used to treat the following conditions:
- Community-acquired or hospital-acquired pneumonia.
- Acute or chronic urinary tract infections.
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
- Bacteremia (bloodstream infections).
- Bacterial meningitis.
- Infections associated with febrile neutropenia.
- Severe intra-abdominal infections in combination with metronidazole.
What are the dosages of Forcetex?
The doctor determines the appropriate dosage based on each case, and it usually includes the following:
- Adults: 1 to 2 grams every 8 to 12 hours depending on the severity of the condition.
- Children: 50 mg per kilogram of body weight every 8 to 12 hours.
- In cases of kidney impairment: The dose is adjusted according to creatinine clearance rate.
