Famotak UAE Famotac is used to treat stomach ulcers and intestinal ulcers. It also prevents recurrence of intestinal ulcers after they have healed, esophageal erosion or reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus, and to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Famotac belongs to a class of medications called histamine 2 blockers. It works by reducing the amount of acid secreted by the stomach, which relieves pain, burning, difficulty swallowing, and coughing.
