Ibuprofen inhibits the action of the cyclooxygenase enzyme responsible for the production of substances that cause inflammation and pain in the body, making it an analgesic, antipyretic, and effective against infections. It also contains pseudoephedrine to relieve nasal congestion associated with acute and chronic sinusitis and colds.
